First-party story

Net-3.co.uk Ltd: we run our own business on Reflex

Net-3.co.uk Ltd is the company behind Reflex. Before we sold a single seat, we pointed Reflex at our own production — the Laravel and PHP workloads that keep our business (and products like Fast-Name) online.

What Net-3 operates

Net-3 runs a portfolio of production Laravel and PHP workloads on Linux — including the infrastructure behind Fast-Name — without a dedicated 24/7 on-call team. Reflex is the layer that keeps those services healthy between deploys.

The setup

  • Production Laravel and PHP across multiple Linux servers
  • PHP-FPM, Nginx, MySQL, Redis, queue workers
  • Reflex agent + Brain in graduated auto-repair on validated playbooks
  • Reflex Pipeline gating deploys on real health checks

Before Reflex

The usual patchwork: a server panel for deploys, uptime checks, Slack alerts, and a drawer of restart scripts that only worked when the person who wrote them was awake. The incidents that hurt most were the revenue-impact ones — 502s during peak traffic and queue backlogs on customer mailers.

What changed

With Reflex running, the failure modes that used to page a human now get detected, dry-run, and repaired automatically on the playbooks we trust — every action behind a full audit trail. The operational result, in words: fewer 3am pages, faster recovery, and one tool where we used to run three.

What Reflex caught

  • PHP-FPM worker exhaustion / 502 recovery
  • Queue worker stalls and backlog clearance
  • Disk trajectory alerts before a volume fills
  • Post-deploy health regression caught by Pipeline gating

The hard numbers (platform telemetry)

We keep the named story qualitative on purpose. The numbers below are aggregated Reflex platform telemetry across live Linux servers — the single source of truth we cite everywhere.

“We run our own company on Reflex. If it could not keep our production online, we would not ask anyone else to depend on it.”
